Nah Master Hand Crazy Hand is perfect for Incineroar - it's literally a tag team fight.

The boss fights are a good idea, but I feel they didn't go far enough, kind of like Brawl. There's too few of them. If they needed to pad them out, they could have just made alterations to some of the playable villains, like have DK/Diddy face a giant super armor K Rool, Fox vs Wolf but with Arwings firing at each other like Melee's Adventure Mode fight against Falco, or Ness fighting Mewtwo (as stand ins for Ninten and Geigue).

I still think that there ought to have been some boss battles that incorporated persisting Assist Trophies. Wily Machine, for example, would have been perfect for Mega Man, and maybe also for Ness (as a stand-in for Pokey).

Kinda bummed out that Samus doesn't fight a Giant Ridley or Mother Brain as her final boss.

I think Ridley is a regular fight anyway.

Giant Ridley is, I believe, her last fight before the bonus round.

Wily Capsule really could have pulled double-duty like Rathalos if he were given just a few more moves.

Thing is, he didn't have other moves in the capsule phase of Mega Man 7. Maybe if they precluded it with Wily Machine 7...

It would also probably need to be a bit bigger.

I know he's got all his Wily Capsule 7 moves, I'm sayin' embellish it with some additional attacks; original, or based on other Wily Capsule fights.

Ganon and Marx have new attacks, no reason Wily Capsule can't.

Burrowing Snagret as a boss?

True, that would be pretty cool. Maybe something for consideration down the line.

On the topic of boss battles, it seems strange to me that Galleom isn't the endboss of Sonic's Classic mode path; it would've been a perfect analogue for one of Eggman's vehicles, if there wasn't the time or resources to actually incorporate the good doctor outside of his Spirit. The Death Egg Robot would have been pretty ideal for the Smash boss format, I think.

Maybe they didn't add anything to Wily Capsule 7 because it already has a reputation for being the worst capsule fight in the franchise's history. Although there's the very good argument that adding attacks would potentially make it less frustrating to deal with and thus more fun for the player.

I personally am hoping they add some more boss fights. To be honest, I miss Duon and Tabuu and hope they get added as part of the DLC somewhere (of course, I've advocated Tabuu as one of the DLC characters, so there's that). Heck, they could even add other bosses that could act like the various Master forms from the fourth game if they don't want to bring back that fight directly.

I would welcome all the brawl bosses back.

Change Rayquaza to anything goes.

There is the argument that Rayquaza is already a stage hazard in the Dragon section of the Kalos League stage. To this, I offer a simple solution: Mega Rayquaza. Bring in Rayquaza's boss battle from Brawl, but upgrade the Mon itself to its ludicrously powerful Mega form.

Donkey Kong is a stage hazard in 75km, and yet he's still a fighter. I think even regular Rayquaza would be fine making a comeback (that said, I wouldn't complain if we fought Mega Rayquaza instead, particularly if they updated everything to match the ORAS Deoxys fight, since that was one of the Pokemon series' best fights of all time).

Every character that’s ever been playable, nearly every stage, some quality of life fixes people have been asking for for the better part of a decade, and we’re STILL finding ways to complain that there’s not enough content?

Is it wrong to want a few more boss fights? The ones we have are cool but we could get a few more at the least

For a series that traditionally has one final boss, complaining that there are 7 different ones feels like biting the hand that feeds you, yeah.

People were whining about the 74 character roster because it didn't pander to them specifically enough, how is this surprising.

Look all I'm saying is that lacking Geno makes this game completely worthless.

But seriously, I don't think having expectations from a triple-A product is that big a deal, let alone just saying it'd be nice if X feature/character/boss were included.

@BadWolf21: Uh... do you see me actually complaining? Yes, I do wish for more, in no small part because we all know for a fact that we are getting more. You can ask for more without complaining. In fact, that's what we're doing. So you're "Seriously guys?" is misplaced.

@fasoman: We are never allowed to ask for anything ever again, even if it's made clear that more things are coming our way, and no matter how calmly or reasonable we are in the asking.

Guys, didn't you hear Sakurai when he said "Never ask me for anything ever again?" Do you want him to cancel Smash Ultimate forever? Is that what you want?

No, we know we are getting: five more characters, five stages, and some songs. That is what we have been promised.

If you are speculating about bosses in the future of the series, sure, whatever. I would think that’s gazing pretty far into the future when the best game in the series in in our hands right now, but cool, you do you.

But this conversation has also spawned requests for the absent Brawl bosses to be added to the game, including one Rayquaza’s fight to be replace by a souped-up version with Mega Rayquaza instead. And just...there’s no way that’s even remotely on the table for post-release content.

Wishing for more content isn't the same thing about complaining over lack of content. Nobody's saying "Sakurai didn't do enough." It's more a long the lines of "Wouldn't it be cool if..."
