It clearly didn't to the devs...considering how many times Ridley is giant and stuff.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Also, Ridley has a taunt where all he does is stand up taller.
I have a message from another time...Ridley will always be a meme and you can't do anything about it
Uni catBecause no matter what you say, he will always be too. fucking. slow.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.I mean pretty much every time I encounter Ridley in Classic mode he's giant and that's including Samus'. If the size meme was dead, no one told Nintendo.
This song needs more love.Even his congratulations screen is a giant Ridley facing off against Rathalos
Ridley very big, is what we're saying.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Each DLC pack contains 10-20 Spirits native to that series, as well as a special Dungeon added to Adventure Mode themed around that series, and the Dungeon ends with a place to unlock that fighter for Adventure Mode. Like, Joker would come with a bunch of Persona Spirits, as well as a special Dungeon added to Adventure Mode based on Persona 5.
The Dungeons and Spirits really made the third-party characters feel like they belonged in Smash, like they were really part of its world (with the exception of Cloud), so I think expanding Adventure Mode for each DLC fighter would be a great way to incorporate them into the universe and make them feel welcomed to Smash Brothers.
Second all of this.
Was going to say, I'm really hoping the devs take a page from Kirby Star Allies and add extra Adventure Mode/Spirit content much like your suggestion, since that game gave us extra, remixed stages on top of new Allies and Puzzle Panels.
However, I expect them to adhere to what they said they'd give us, and if we're given any new Spirits, they'll just be new Spirit Board/Shop items rather than being added to Adventure Mode. Since there are scheduled Spirit Board events, they can just make any new ones a part of some week-long or more rotation upon each DLC release.
Speaking of events, Fire Emblem is getting a two-parter one coming up. Part One will start on the 21st.
There's an SP boost that's a part of the event that I need to take advantage of. I've got several Legend and Ace Spirits that I need to power up but lack the SP to do so.

Yeah, it's brutal that Spirit Points are used to buy Spirits and items and level Spirits up. I wish I could just use the Spirit Food without using up Spirit Points, that's one bit of excessive costliness that was obviously cribbed straight from gacha games.
Doesn't help that I insist on leveling up all of my Spirits to at least a certain point, regardless of how much I use them, and my final goal is to have all the Spirits in the game at Level 99. Rank 1 and 2 Spirits need to be at least Level 30, Rank 3 Spirits need to be at least Level 40, and Rank 4 Spirits need to be at least Level 50. If I don't do that, than I feel like I'm not being fair to the rest of the Spirits, and I'm not giving all of them a chance to be used at some point.

Who thought I'd be a good idea to make bullshit Spirit fights and then make you play what is basically a roulette to get them?
Yes I am tilted.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Fortunately there's a facility for free levelling in adventure, and you can access it from the main Spirit menu or Adventure menu.
Only takes 4 at a time, but it's pretty convenient for getting Spirits to lv 99
Incineroar's not the only Pokemon with a cool Easter Egg animation. If you footstool Squirtle while it's doing its Side B, it lands on its back and wobbles around like an actual turtle.
It's been 3000 years…Why are ye referring to lootboxes as gachas?
Ukrainian Red CrossAnyone know if the various "killer" skills (Giant Killer, Metal Killer, Addist Killer) stack with each other?
Other than items you hold I think everything stacks, including passives from the skill tree.
Actually, item skills will stack. It's not useful in Adventure or the Spirit Board, but in Smash if you equip multiple item skills you'll respawn with the next item down the list the first time you die.
Anyway, I tried to test if Metal Killers stack in a Metal Smash, but results are inconclusive. More Metal Killers did make the damage I dealt go up, but I can't tell if that was because of Metal Killer, or because just equipping a spirit makes your team power go up.

If Square's not gonna even lend them a JPEG we're definitely not getting any fun reps from them.
Wow, there's not even a Milestone announcement if you get all the spirits.
I must admit, Pichu might have the most hardcore Final Smash scream of all the characters.
Uni cat@Weirdguy149: That's actually been a thing since Brawl, but I don't know if many people noticed it back then.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well... that was a bit silly. I managed to beat The Boss with Wii Fit Trainer when I was at just 7% health left. We were both at the edge of the stage and Wii Fit Trainer's FS Meter filled up at the perfect time haha.
Impossible. It's so slow in Brawl that the only reason you wouldn't notice is if they never played the character.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
It was pretty huge meme though. It's gonna be pretty hard to kill off such massive amounts of meme inertia.
Edit: Page topper, lol.

I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.
