The dude draws some extremely Squick-y smut fanart, to the point that he's basically become a meme.
I'm familiar with his work (mostly not my cup of tea), but I don't think it should detract from the one wholesome image he drew.

I really don't get why Shadman is considered (either seriously or just as a meme) the bane of everyone's existence. It's not like he's the only one drawing extreme smut (go to any image site where you can find pornographic material and you'll find plenty of extreme stuff not made by him), and I'd rather people not gloss over what is probably the one positive image regarding the "Waluigi snubbed from Smash" meme.

To get back on topic, remember that timeline for character reveals of the previous Smash reveals? Here's an updated version with the recent 8/8/18 Direct and estimations on when the next reveals will be.
Leak season is best season. I love the air of theories and speculation over who is lying, who is telling the truth, and who is misinformed. And then, we finally get confirmation in the end who had it and who was full of it. What a time to be alive.
That information timeline is a bit misleading. The Brawl timelines omit roughly an entire year between the debut trailer and the launch of the Dojo
I'd tolerate it more if there weren't a cavalcade of people buying into every single shitty wishlist or "my uncle works at nintendo" rumor and then holding them up as gospel.
My favorite part of pre-Smash hype is the memes, though, so have one.

Remember the baseless codename leak? For some bizarre reason, youtubers jumped on it like wolves and people started talking about it for no reason except maybe that it contained a character they like.

Leak season's terrible. It's impossible to have a decent conversation because somebody has to be all "okay I believe you" to every leak regardless of validity and post it.

I think the thing with the codenames leak, aside from being wishlisty, made people feel "smart" for "figuring out" which characters each codename represented. Thus, anybody with an audience wad attracted to it because it made them feel like they were the ones personally doing the leaking.
It was all baseless garbage and I'm glad it's dead.
He definitely had a reliable source at one point - he knew stuff from the demo before E3, and he knew the script of K. Rool's cutscene before the 8/8 direct - but right now I think he's just making the most of his 15 seconds of fame and a lot of what he's saying has no basis in reality.
