I'm trying to find a trope to adequately express what Elaida from Wheel Of Time is. Spoilers ahoy.
Spanner in the Works - not quite, although she's good at this. The Caligula - She was, but isn't anymore. (Thank you God.) The Scrappy - for me, yes. But that is merely subjective. Too Dumb to Live - Oh dear Lord, YES, but again, not quite.
These fit her, yes. But none of them are quite what I'm looking for. Elaida is a very special character that, even after she has been removed from her position as one of the main antagonists, continues to make problems for everyone just by her past, present, and future existence.
So again, do we have this one? Penny for your thoughts.
