Current Dragonball is trying to make the Saiyans come off as less awful. DBM wants to make their destruction at Frieza even more deserved
Yeah, this is stupid. What a shock.
My various fanfics.
How? Before Toriyama started white-washing them, the Saiyans were implied to be just as bad as Frieza.
One Strip! One Strip!Seemed like what happened to the Saiyan was treated as karma since they act like roaming barbarians for the most part.

"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaYou think he's bitter?
Like a small child who was told he can't have a cookie.
My various fanfics. It is a tad petty since he already gave Goku a "better" mom years ago.
Yeah, it does seem kinda cheap.
And this is as someone who'd not a particularly big fan of Gine.
One Strip! One Strip!Considering she is just mentioned as dead it would not really be all that petty. If she gets shown being turned to paste that would be more arguable of a point to make.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaI mean, killed and then called a loser by her canon son?
That's pretty inarguably petty and I think Gine is garbage.
Who's Dees, though?
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.No evidence, but Dees might be the dude hanging out with Bardock in the DB Minus story.
One Strip! One Strip!
Is that any different than how Saiyans treat each other in the source material?
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaHe may also be annoyed that DBS did the whole multiverse tournament years after him
Didn't you know that DBM Broly is completely invincible?
My various fanfics. Not even Canon!Broly is that ridiculous.
Isn't "survive in space" exactly what Movie Broly did when Freeza destroyed the planet? He even brought his dad along for the ride.
Canon Broly? That movie's not even out yet!
Movie!Broly did survive in space even though that's always been one of the canonical Saiyan weaknesses; I've heard people argue that the shield he created held in air, but there's no way it held *enough* that he could have gotten to another planet in that time with so little air.
So technically making him a mutant who can breathe in space is just filling in that plothole; but it doesn't explain why Paragus, who was to all extents and purposes a regular Saiyan, survived as well, since Baby Broly took him along for the ride.
Really, Broldy's backstory is completely unsalvageable.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"How vaporized was the planet? Maybe Broly and Paragus found a space pod that was still flyable? I'm guessing the writers didn't think about it that hard.
Very vaporized, and they are seen flying off unassisted.

Maybe they hitched a ride on Frieza's ship. Rumor has it he was in the area when the planet blew up.
oops! A bit late here.
Actually, I did!
Their oppression was gruesome and even worse than Frieza's.
And there we go. I'm hearing some cheers for Raichi now.
One Strip! One Strip!
