"suspiciously flimsy reasons that are definitely true"
... were we supposed to question the veracity of the object-oriented programming claim? Cause I never thought about it.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I think they doubt the reason, not that we readers were supposed to.

"Also, I've modded TF guns into several video games," got a big laugh out of me. I didn't expect that. Good use of a seemingly innocuous earlier statement to secretly set up a punchline.

Huh. Tedd's work is kinda of a big deal.
I know that the intent is probably for Tedd's father to be giving her the practical advice that the best way which she can avoid seeming like she's fawning over him, is to not fawn over him. But I can't help but read it as either that he's disparaging Tedd's efforts as more of his weirdness, or implying that the results from it weren't actually all that favorable for the Uryuom in the end, for some reason.
My impression is that Tedd doesn't know; Edward never told him there was anything more to it than doing a favour for a lovely and friendly couple, perhaps fearing what effect the pressure of helping an entire species might have.
And now all this time later, he doesn't know how to tell him the truth. So he doesn't.

Behind the wall there's a portal to Nanase's world. But if you don't destroy it, Venger will use it to conquer both worlds.

Behind the wall is a mummified chicken, the ancestor to Maribel.
Yes. She is, Grace.
Think, think, think Senora...
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Tbh, if this were a campaign this would be the point where I go "the villains are defeated, the heroes are successful, and all that is left is the mysterious mural, ooooh!", then say we'll find out what secrets it holds next session, same dungeon time, same dungeon channel, then spend a week or two figuring out the next stage of the mystery (and pretending I knew all along, natch) rather than try to force an answer right away.
But since this is supposed to be a oneshot, Ellen's kind of stuck here.
