It's creative how they handle the introduction of new characters. There's a wild mass guess out there that in the real movies, R2-D2 was the brains behind the Alliance. In the comics, R2-D2's player really will be the brains of the Alliance.

Hmm, it seems in today's comic that nobody trusts Qui-Gon's judgment anymore. I wonder why?
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Uhh... he was framed by the Swiss Lords? I don't know, ask easier questions!
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? You think about it from a GM'ing perspective...how the hell....what....but...
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.If I'm not mistaken, the dialogue from today's page is taken verbatim from the film.
Any idea what the heck DMM's comment below the strip means?
I didn't write any of that. The best I can get is something along the lines of "the crowd of thousands doesn't even qualify for NPC status".

On the other hand, he could be referring to how this whole scene in the movie is mostly CG, more so than the others.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.I think he's pointing out that none of those details in this scene besides the dialogue have probably been defined by the DM for the players. Probably. I think he mostly just failed a sanity roll.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Sure, it'd be crap in real life, but in the context of "the game's over if we lose anyways, it doesn't matter how screwed our characters are as long as they're screwed", that's actually not a half bad plan.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Ep 99 The real fun is in the below-strip essay. Of course, we all know about the Gambler's Fallacy, right?
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? That's how people lose their shirt at the roulette table. There's a gambling system, where you double your bet every time you lose. (Obviously just betting black or red every time.)
It works until you get a streak of 6 or 10 black numbers in a row, and your money is gone.
Happy 100th strip!
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? You know what's funny? The Sandpeople in that scene demonstrated better marksmanship than any Stormtrooper ever did.
I didn't write any of that.Another possible clue: Shmi seems to be implying that she drives through desert regions regularly.
Also Take That!, Waiting For Godot!
I didn't write any of that.Jim and Shmi are gonna get it on!!
Just read through the archive. I was very amused. Kinda reminds me of some of our campaigns.
the statement above is false105 Heh... she is learning...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?106 ...they're corrupting her!

What do you bet she starts playing Padme once the party leaves Tattooine?
I didn't write any of that. She might stay as Anakin. She's shown enough deviousness to play Darth Vader someday, and angst could count as drama...

I'm pretty sure you'd have to roll against your sanity score if you tried to read it.
Whatever it is it's fracked up big time.
