Deleting any bits of Lu from her head is what the procedure is for, so I doubt she'll have any direct memories left. However, this channel opening thing Lu is rambling on right now will probably help her with unlocking Queen state in the long run.

the way i see it, ascension is another raygun for Lu to use and not, like, a massive break of the universe's established rules. She's not ascending because she's been denied ascension all this time, she's ascending because she can't kill them with swords, her backup was taken down, and the memories she has from being in Agatha are too important to lose.

Remember, she's slaughtered multiple queens before, this isn't some massive increase in power for her.

I mean, god-queens/second breakthroughs are not, so far imo, the be-all and end-all mystery of the comic. The mirrors predate the queens and are technology they don't understand. We could still be looking at a dragon-king of mars here.

edit: also whatever potion it was, violetta is swole-r than any ninja has a right to be

Did we ever learn what Otilia was supposed to protect the Heterodyne Girl from? And whether Agatha is in fact that Heterodyne girl?

[up] I think Agatha being the Heterodyne has been pretty well established very early.

well the fun thing there, reviewing the comic she reveals this in, is that "her beloved king" wanted Agatha protected, which, idk, that could be andronicus valois referring to Euphrosynia and not Agatha? Seems odd for Valois to know about a descendant 200 years later. Van Rijn, the creator, might have had more of an idea given his encounters with Lu/the Muse of Time.

idk, one moment Lu doesn't have enough time to make her molecular web for a better clank, the next she might be setting up a two-centuries-long gambit to make certain her "holy child" doesn't get away.

[up]That's my head-canon until proven otherwise, that "the Heterodyne girl" was originally Euphrosynia, whom the Storm King and Van Rijn expected to reappear at some point, and Otilla the clank misinterpreted it. (The print-novels include a scene where Agatha and Paine discuss how even super-advanced clanks like the Muses can hit a mental wall.)

With all that's going on, I'm halfway expecting Othar to burst through the ceiling and knock out Lu!Agatha at this point.

...when did we last see Othar now again? Did he ever show up in Paris?

Last we saw, he was giving Rousing Speeches to the people attacking Gil.

And it won't be him, it'll be the ear-plugged British soldiers, giving Our Heroes just enough time to finally do this.

Did he even escape Mechanicsburg?

Yes, Gil pulled him out of Mechanisburg.

Wait... if the reader expects Othar, but the characters don't (which seems to be the case here), does he show up?

Of course... Because no plot line ever gets resolved on Friday.

I hope Agatha at least remembers how Lu did this. Though that may be asking for too much, even if she can't immediately repeat it.

Having Agatha become a super-powered Queen really would kill the plot.

I don't think it would. Gaining a massive power up, when you have neither the time nor the means to learn how to use it, could be more of a hindrance than a help.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that private jaeger story from years ago was allegedly after the events of the comic and she didn't seem all that infinite

[up]The GG Wiki is a good place to look for such things.

EDIT: New strip. "Actual" Baron Wulfenbach? I'm betting there's a Gil-imposter back on the Continent, authorized or otherwise..
