"Jesus, Kiba, stop getting worked up over Sasuke"
"Shut it, Shino! You weren't there when we nearly died trying to rescue him!"
"QUIT RUBBING IT IN!"
Good lord these war filler arcs are pissing me the fuck off >_>
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenBecause they are poor ideas, poorly executed, or because the canon plot is soooooo much better?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhen Ino uses her Mind Transfer jutsu, is the victim aware of what's happening?
Three examples: - Ino and Sakura during the Chunin Test.
- During the preliminary rounds.
- Ino uses it on Obito.
During the test, I don't think Sakura comments about Ino taking control of her, but Ino did it stealthfully that time and referred to Sakura's brain in that instance; so Sakura, if aware, has evidence to trace that back to Ino.
During the preliminary round, IIRC, Sakura went "unconscious" and Ino took control, but Naruto's yell triggered 'Inner Sakura', who removed Ino's control. This time, Sakura did know it was coming, and knew about the jutsu, but we didn't see any sort of mental struggle with Ino until Inner Sakura showed up.
During the war, Ino throws it at Obito with Hinata's aid, and Ino doesn't appear to notice it at first. But his Sharingan picks up on it, and he dispels it, though, Ino still managed to infiltrate him (giggity) long enough, or fast enough, to slightly alter the Ten-Tails' trajectory.
Thoughts?

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I thought she hit the 10 tails itself, redirected it, but then the 10 tails was too strong for that to last for more than an instant, and it broke.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy@Wanderlust warrior
The canon arcs are just as suck ass. I only want to see the part where Madara goes meteor be animated.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI've been thinking about the meteor thing. Those were some pretty damn big space rocks and they came out of nowhere pretty fast. Does the Naruto world have a large debris ring around it due to the Juubi and Sage of the Six paths?
Click Click Boom Boom@Kojuraske
No idea chief

I'll read it again, but the panel showed Ino's avatar hovering over Obito, so I figure she used it on him, and his Sharingan broke it.
Though, how or why she would have known to target him - on the other hand, possessing a person is a better gamble that possessing a giant monster.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).It's kinda funny how little area damage "double meteor all the way" does.
I don't recall that part. I may reread.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyKishi has no idea about how destructive meteors are. Meteors of this size would wipe out the whole continent clean.
He's used to Meteors that only do % damage and are thus incapable of actually killing the targets.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariUmm, not really. It would take a meteor much bigger then that, at least several times the size of the KT extinction event impact to do that.
Madara's meteors don't even come close to that size.

Watch SymphogearYou understand that there's a difference between one continent and the surfaces of whole planet? Madara meteors are big enough that the continent would be devoid of life for couple of years at least.
You know, when you say that the Juubi's Tailed Beast Ball has destructive force measured in the Teratons of TNT, no matter how much proof you present to back up your point, nobody will ever believe you again.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariDoesn't the meteor's destructive power depend on how fast it is? I mean Madara summoned them maybe a hundred metres above the earth, while those world-crushing meteors fall on Earth from the orbit.
I mean I know jack shit about this stuff, but I vaguely remember something like this.
Anyone else think that the meteor thing was an ability of the Tendō?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!The bigger (and most importantly, heavier) the meteor is, the less force (read: Speed) it needs to crash with for its impact to have a cataclysmic outcome. I could turn these calculations around to see how much energy it releases upon impact, using that to figure out the destructive force it hits with and therefore know whether or not it'd wipe out the entire continent, but for that, I'd need to know the amount of mass in the meteor, whether or not the gravity in the Naruto-verse is the same as in ours and, well, a shit to give about it.
Plus, my physics classes were six years ago, so I'm not even absolutely certain that my way of calculating the area of effect of Madara's Meteor Attack would even work.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariGranted, the gravity thing would only make sense if the Naruto world was the same size as Earth, which I kind of doubt since the mountains of that world seem too small, what with them seemingly only being about three-five times larger than the trees.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Tall ass trees, man.
I'm gonna go with meteors doing percent damage.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyRemember when that one rubber using guy who saved Naruto's clone instead of the fodders?
How it must feel when the last thing you realize before you die is that your life is worth less than a clone, who disappears anyway like a chapter later.
Remember the second meteor smash into the first one. The force of the second transfer into the first one, but the first one and second one broke into pieces and because of air friction maybe about half its speed was lost. Plus I'm pretty sure the Tsuchikage was still has his jutsu activated, so Continent destroying event not really.

The Reaper Games starts anew.>tfw a clone is more valuable than you
Such is the life of a Fodder.
That is a good point. I mean, I know Sakura can forgive Sasuke because she's in wuv wif him, and Naruto can forgive him because he's the ninja Messiah and was literally beat up for Sasuke's sins in the most out-of-character moment possible, but we're supposed to think Kiba's out of line for understandably not welcoming Sasuke back. I mean, his dog almost died when they tried to bring the little emo back.
