• Mandela Effect: Many people swear having seen an alternate version of the ending with a final, horrifying Wham Line over the movie's final shot:"I CAN STILL SEE!" In truth, no version of the film has ever included this line, but it found its way into a lot of viewers' recollection after Stephen King mentioned it in his nonfiction book Danse Macabre. Roger Corman himself denied that the line was ever in the film, while adding that he wished he had thought of it.
