• He Really Can Act: Press Start has always made the protagonists he voices humorous and witty but in the ending of Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 actually shows that he can convey actual dread when he cries out for Kissy Missy alongside Poppy when she's attacked off-screen. One could be forgiven for thinking his cry of concern was part of the game itself.
  • The first part of the Bioshock 2 series ends with Subject Delta reciting the iconic monologue from Taken and playing it dead seriously. Press Start's delivery is every bit as chilling as Liam Neeson's before him (yes, it helps that his voice for Delta is artificially deepened, but still).
• Nightmare Fuel: The ending to Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, where the MC watches the "Hour of Joy" event, is just as horrific as in the game. The fact that the MC drops his usual wisecrack demeanor and is completely stunned in silence and horror really emphasizes the gruesome nature of that event.
