- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: During the tour of the territory with Thrushfeather, a random cat appears out of nowhere and attacks the protagonist. After the cat is defeated, the incident is never mentioned again. You can speak to him and his sister later on though.

- Mosstail is surprisingly one of the more popular characters, despite or perhaps because of his grumpy attitude.
- Reedpaw is one of the more liked side characters, despite having no speaking lines.
- Nightmare Fuel: Voideyes.
- Tear Jerker: If Kestrelpaw, Nightkit, Eaglekit, or Amberflame die.
- Sure, Kitsy's scene is pretty weird, but all the same...
- Iron Woobie: Thrushfeather's backstory can be discovered if you make certain choices, and it's not a pretty one...
