  • "Riptide" won the poll, but "From Afar" and "First Time" are pretty cool, too.
  • "Mess is Mine", "Georgia" and "Saturday Sun" also deserve mentions.
• Black Sheep Hit: "Riptide" is actually one of his more upbeat songs.
• Genius Bonus: At the bridge of the "Riptide" video, there are three tarot cards visible. The first is the Fool, which constantly starts the journey and encourages pursuing risks. Second is the Moon. This card shows uncertainty and obstacles upcoming in the journey. Lastly, there is the Hanged Man, representing depression before enlightenment. This story together is one interpretation of the somewhat meaningless lyrics.
• One-Hit Wonder: While it remains to be seen how long he'll last, "Riptide" peaked at #30 in the US and is his only charting song. While "Mess is Mine" was a Platinum single, it never charted.

• What Do You Mean, It's Not Political?: The "Mess is Mine" video shows a displaced polar bear in Australia adjusting to a warmer climate.
