YMMV / Tigger's Honey Hunt

Go To

  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: A common complaint of the game, due to having only six exploration levels which can be completed easily.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • The bee swarms in the first and fifth levels can be this for players who have a fear of bees. For the first, hearing that buzzing after the relatively calm and quiet of the start can be jarring, and for the fifth, being chased down by said bees twice can be just plain scary as they try to get Tigger away from them.
    • The eighth level, "Tigger, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" takes the cake. It is the most surreal level in the entire game, filled with heffalumps, woozles, and bats, all of which are either hostile, or large enough to beat down Tigger's health. Why is this the case? It's based on the underground cavern and thorn forest from Pooh's Grand Adventure; the first half is said underground cavern, which is creepy enough on its own, but then comes the second half, filled with hazardous thorn growths, with the background changing to match. It's just overall a creepy level, fitting for what's the penultimate stage of the game.
  • Porting Disaster: Not that it makes it any less playable, but the N64 version removes the loading screens, animated video clips, and voiceovers from the cutscenes, due to storage limitations. N64 Magazine even describes such as "something that looks, and plays as if it's something still half way through development."
