- Awesome Music:
- The prelude is absolutely gorgeous.
- The harmony in "Nothing Like a Fire."
- "Superior." Richard may be a total psychopath, but damned if he can't carry a tune.
- "Ransom Note" is surprisingly beautiful, and also incredibly creepy.
- "Roadster" and "Keep Your Deal With Me" are both set to the same gorgeous, perfectly sinister piano piece.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The show's surprisingly big in South Korea.
- Ho Yay: Come for the psychological insight and emotional manipulation. Stay for the actors making out in 1920s costumes.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- "Roadster," where Richard convinces the victim Bobby Franks to get in his car. It's absolutely chilling.
- "Ransom Note" and "The Plan" aren't much better. "Ransom Note" is parental worries personified, and "The Plan" really showcases Richard's Psychopathic Manchild side.
- Tearjerker: "Afraid".
- The Woobie: Nathan, not to mention poor Bobby Franks.
