YMMV / The Wild Women of Wongo

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: To kick off their exile in the jungle, the women of Wongo must first go to their temple and atone to their god through liturgical dance. Cue lengthy scene of the girls shimmying, gyrating and frugging, with no real plot relevance and no payoff other than the cheesecake value.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Given that Wongo's god is represented by a crocodile, the liturgical dance scene mentioned above could be called a Big-Lipped Crocodile Moment.
• Hollywood Homely: Most of the cast described as "ugly" are not really so, they're just less conventionally attractive. Though, since it was made in The '50s, the distinction is more obvious with the women of Goona (whose number include a horse-faced girl, an extremely tall and thin girl, and an overweight woman with a makeup job by Mimi Bobeck) than with the men of Wongo.
