YMMV / The True Story of the Three Little Pigs

Go To

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: How much of the story is actually true is certainly a matter of debate. The wolf isn't an unbiased source and he could be lying to paint himself in a sympathetic light. Even if his story is true, he could still be evil, since he doesn't seem even remotely perturbed when he accidentally kills the first two pigs either, and is all too eager to eat them afterward, and the fact that he doesn't even stop after accidentally killed the first pig despite having enough lung power to kill with a sneeze. It could just be simple Blue-and-Orange Morality on his part (he is a predator after all, and he even admits it's not good to waste food), but it still calls into question just how nice a guy he's supposed to be.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The scenes where the Wolf accidentally kills the pigs and then eats their corpses might be a bit frightening for younger readers, especially after he has the second one and has grown fat and happy from it.
