• Anti-Climax Boss: Braino the Magnificent, the game's Final Boss, is really easy to defeat. He only takes five hits from Bartman's laser eyes, and can hardly hurt Bartman.
• The Problem with Licensed Games: One of the biggest offenders of this trope, and generally considered the worst of three Simpsons games released on the NES. Bartman's combat skills barely work, enemies will constantly break through your attacks, the levels are long and uninteresting, and it's unnecessarily difficult.
