• Nightmare Fuel:
  • Sammy Talbot's eyes. Firstly, they extend out of his skull. Sometimes they appear to drip down his face to do so. They then swell and extend, forming a giant mouth with eyes on the inside and outside of it. These can eat people whole - or worse.
  • Demons may be small fry in this story compared to the Scarecrows, but the terrifying skeletal beast that leaks black fluid from its mouth and has More Teeth than the Osmond Family certainly makes a strong impression.
  • Spycrows, with their seemingly goo-like bodies, eyeless faces and giant staring eyes embedded in places there definitely shouldn't be eyes on a normal bird.
