• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • The show's initial ad back in September 2013 featured a group of Israeli political assassins and mass-murderers dancing around a colorful set, happily singing "I am a right-wing murderer" ('Aval Ani Rotzeach Yemani' - parodying a classic Israeli children's song). The ad was quickly pulled by the network, who claimed it aired without its full consent and authorization. The clip proved to be so controversial that Channel 1 allegedly considered cancelling the entire show.
  • The parody of "Stan" by Eminem, featuring mass-murderer Baruch Goldstein as the stalker-ish Stan and God as his object of obsession.
• Everyone Is Jesus in Purgatory: Teen!Solomon insists that his collection of erotic poetry (aka Song of Songs) is a metaphor for his relationship with God. No one is convinced. (As You Know, this is a joke about an established orthodox interpretation that claims exactly that, which in view of the very explicit nature of the text is somewhat… troubling.)
• Genius Bonus: A skit shows David Ben-Gurion and Yitzhak Ben-Zvi studying together in university in late Ottoman Constantinople. They're asked what fraternity they're in, and Ben-Zvi responds with "Alif Maksura-Ta Marbutha" – Turkish was written in the Arabic alphabet at the time, and was only latinized by Atatürk.
• Ho Yay: The Zugot (“couples”) sages are presented as actual couples. Two of them go to a swinger party where they get to debate Torah with other sages.
  Shammai (after the long-time debate partner of Hillel the Elder storms out in jealous rage): Lucky we didn’t tell him we had sex.
• Overly Long Gag: Some sketches fall into this trope, especially with those relating to chief-of-command Raful.
