• Hilarious in Hindsight: Entering the world inside known literary works to prevent them from being mucked up? What do you mean that's the premise of Bungo to Alchemist, which came out 4 years later?
• So Bad, It's Good: It may be a lazily done movie with bad animation and laughable writing, but it can be ironically enjoyable in its ineptitude.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Admittedly, the premise of fighting evil within known works of real-life fiction is a cool concept which, as stated in Hilarious in Hindsight above, can be and has been executed better.
• The Un-Twist: The blond guy from the beginning has been trying to destroy Jules Verne's stories.
• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: For a movie supposedly for kids, it contains things like incest and blatant political and sexual jokes.
