• Designated Villain: Unlike other villainous metas Griffin doesn't really do much actual villainy. He didn't try to harm anyone innocent, he kidnapped Wells but only because he thought he was responsible for his condition (he was wrong, but couldn't have known that) and it's not like he wanted revenge, he just wanted to be cured. He tried to defend himself from Team Flash, but only after they went after him armed to the teeth. Despite this he's treated just like every other Villain of the Week. On the other hand Barry does try to appeal to Griffin during his fight and the last scene with him and Team Flash is one of sympathy after seeing how bad his condition has gotten and he is the one who ultimately causes Harry to realise he needs to atone for what he did on Earth-2.
• Narm:
  • Literally everything Caitlin says reminds Zoom of the night his mom was murdered. And his reaction is about as over the top as a vampire getting caught in sunlight.
  • Zoom decides to take Caitlin back home, with the intention of conquering Earth 1 as he's already 'brought [Earth 2] to its knees'. Which, would sound badass...except all Zoom has done is terrorize Earth 2's Central City; he hasn't taken over the world, and though terrorized, he's not 'taken over' Central City either. It comes off more crazy and delusional than threatening. Then again since this is Zoom we're talking about this may have been the point.
