YMMV / The Coma: Cutting Class

Go To

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: What exactly was Sumi Park's intention behind her actions in 1954? She gave the Moon Incense away, which ensured that Vicious Sister will not be killed by her and left to roam The Coma for the next sixty years. Sumi says it's because she believes there's good in Vicious Sister — did she really believe that her Fettered Shade had the potential to be redeemed? Or was she feeling guilty over having created her, and so set out a long game of giving the Moon Incense away, and having Jang-mi chosen as the shamanka to perform the exorcism of Vicious Sister, knowing that they would fail, and let Vicious Sister enter the waking world?
  • Jerkass Woobie: Myung-gil, who turns out to have been suffering from a hunger curse thanks to Seho's machinations.
  • Most Wonderful Sound: The cafeteria music, which is a nice respite from the unsettling ambient music. It's also one of the few safe zones where the Killer can't reach Youngho.
  • Unintentional Uncanny Valley: The Shade and her puppet of Miss Song. They look human, but their physical forms are very distorted. With Coma!Miss Song, her movement become more erratic and inhuman as the game progresses.
