• Heartwarming Moments:
  • CR-999's and Pandora's increasingly warm relationship with each other after having met, as the two share interests in seeing a rebuilt Earth. It leads to a Player Punch when you have to make the hard initial choice of saving her and dooming the world, or destroying her and saving the world.
  • The Golden Ending of the game. After lots of hardship, CR-999 manages to reactivate Pandora after installing part Φ, and she overgrows her programming to recognize him as a friend. If that wasn't enough, Biri, who CR-999 had grown close to as well, reactivates and calls the population of Earth to hail the two as heroes. It's lovely to see that Pandora being absolved of what she did thanks to her faulty programming.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • The final two areas of the game are perpetually shrouded in a moody fog even at day, and most of the garbage around them is covered with a sickly purple gunk that appears to be corruptive or radioactive of some sort.
  • The Save Pandora ending if Pandora Part Φ was not installed (titled "Garbage Incineration"). Pandora reactivates with glowing red eyes and a nightmarish Slasher Smile on her face, before she blasts a hole through CR-999 with her incineration cannon. She then proceeds to finish what she started several years back, destroying what remains of Earth. The ending cinematic shows Earth thoroughly cracked and molten, as nightmarish music plays.
  • Pandora might serve as a single rich source of high octane Nightmare Fuel. Think about who made her worked for a war mongering empire and inadvertently End of the World as We Know It
• Tear Jerker:
  • At one of the later areas, CR-999 will receive a message thanking him from one of the children from the first town, who has grown into an old man and passed away from old age. It's here when CR-999 properly learns about death, after having talked about it with Pandora earlier.
  • Biri's Heroic Sacrifice by sticking with CR-999 as the contamination from the polluted area begins to disrupt him. After shutting down, the "Biri" section under your menu will no longer have Biri giving hints, instead it will have a piece of paper with "OUR ADVENTURE WAS REALLY GREAT. BE NICE TO PANDORA." signed by a picture of Biri with a halo over their head.
  • The Save The Earth Bittersweet Ending (titled "Goodbye"). CR-999 very reluctantly pushes the button to destroy Pandora's body that was under reconstruction and reactivation, as she would destroy the Earth if she reactivated. While the Earth is saved, and CR-999 eventually helps it recover, he's clearly saddened by the loss of both Biri and Pandora, leaving him all alone. The very ending first-person cinematic shows him outright shutting down all alone, possibly from loneliness.
