YMMV / Stunt Race FX

• Awesome Music: As is standard for Nintendo's in house games, the soundtrack is considered a high point. Namely the Main Theme, Easy Ride, Aqua Tunnel, and Sunset Valley.
• Moe: All of the playable race cars. They're all very expressive and ooze charm.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: A lot of players don't realize that Coupe is supposed to be a girl. Although she is given visible eyelashes in promotional art and the Japanese commercial, she lacks them in the game itself, and nothing else hints toward this fact.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: Star Fox was the first polygonal game on the SNES and was definitely memorable because of it, but this was the first game using the Super FX chip to try combining 2D sprites, 3D polygons, and textures all together to create the visuals of animate cars racing on a track. Combined with moving background elements, it makes for a pleasant (if dated) viewing experience, and the game's color pallet is easy on the eyes.
  • Go to the Big Ravine course and change the camera to the first-person view. You'll see rain splatter on the camera, and the view through the rain splatter will be distorted like real rain on the windshield. All this on the SNES!
