- Broken Base: The return of Jessica's classic design; a lot of people liked the practical, modern design, for making better sense for her character, being more pragmatic, and also really just as sexy without trying so hard. That her classic 'sexy' design is often Fetish Retardant in the hands of some artists (and for people who find body-paint off-putting, as her suit often looks like that), her returning to it is quite off-putting to some folk.
- It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: Not so much as an outright hatred, but some felt Strikeforce was redundant with it being announced so shortly after Savage Avengers, which as a very similar premise. Some even were confused when this was announced due to the similarities.
- Narm: The team pairs seven members of wildly different power levels yet treats all of them as equals. Blade, Winter Soldier and Spider-Woman are certainly no slouches in their own right, but as they're on the same team with Angela, Wiccan, Spectrum and Hellstrom, all winners of the Superpower Lottery, it does make you wonder if they even need their help.
