- Jack finally tracks down the brother he never knew who has to drop the bomb on him: Jack's parents gave him up after getting accidentally pregnant in high school, but stayed together and went on to have four children whom they raised. How does it get worse for Jack? He tracked down one of the foster brothers he grew up with...and the guy didn't even remember him. No wonder Jack goes on a tailspin of drinking.
