- Just Here for Godzilla: If you've heard of this game, chances are that it's either because of how ludicrously rare the game is, because the sprite of Devi was used as the main antagonist for the creepypasta Misfortune.gb, or for the unexpected pathos of a character named Arnie Eggplant who Died in Your Arms Tonight as part of the story.
- More Popular Spin-Off: Spud's Adventure was just one of several
potato-themed games in the Puzzle Boy franchise (Kwirk was originally Spud before being localized as a tomato) but eclipsed the rest of them, presumably due to having a deeper story and action amidst the puzzle-solving. - Player Punch: After recruiting and potentially playing as him for a while, Arnie Eggplant is killed by falling rocks while saving Terry. Later, the reformed Devi shares the same fate.
- So Okay, It's Average: The game is functional for a dungeon crawler on the Game Boy, but it doesn't really have much going for it in terms of memorability.
