in Spider's Web takes the cake. - What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Their films (at least their earlier ones) usually are like this; An Ant's Life for example has rather violent and unsettling scenes, especially for a film of its nature. The ending is worth noting since it involves Josephine's babies getting eaten by two geckos and those same geckos get their tails ripped off by a praying mantis.
