- Accidental Innuendo: The walrus in Piper Penguin sings at the prom. Judging by the faces of the party-goers, it looks like everyone really likes his singing.
- Broken Aesop: Plan Bee teaches the value of democracy, and yet the heroes fight to restore the old monarch.
- Special Effect Failure: The CG in Spark Plug's early works are rather crude, but the explosion scene in Spider's Web takes the cake.
- What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Their films (at least their earlier ones) usually are like this; An Ant's Life for example has rather violent and unsettling scenes, especially for a film of its nature. The ending is worth noting since it involves Josephine's babies getting eaten by two geckos and those same geckos get their tails ripped off by a praying mantis.
