YMMV / South Park S 8 E 6 The Jeffersons

• Esoteric Happy Ending: Everybody joins Jefferson in a song in about the power of change, never mind that he still looks like a zombie and the cops nearly arrested him. Though it was possibly supposed to be ironic.
• Heartwarming Moments: Kyle, seeing Blanket injured, decides not to play on the train with the other kids who've come to the Jeffersons and makes sure the boy gets proper treatment. And Blanket is genuinely grateful, even if the ointment Kyle used stung.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • A later episode would feature another spoof of Jackson, featuring his ghost possessing Ike after his passing.
  • When Mr. Jefferson realizes he needs to be more mature so he can properly raise his son, he points out that he needs to be Blanket's father instead of his friend. A later episode had a similar conflict with Liane's relationship with Cartman, pointing out that Liane saw Cartman as her friend instead of her son which is why she constantly lets him walk all over her.
• The Woobie: Blanket spends the entire episode neglected, even when he gets injured, by his father and the other kids who come over, except for Kyle. He's also forced by his father to hide his face with a mask whenever anyone else is around.
