• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • A family eating their own five-year-old son to stave off starvation after being camped outside the mall for too long is disturbing. The fact that they were camped outside for as long as they were so they could get a Blu-ray player for cheap is disturbing and ridiculous.
  • The news reporter telling the dead boy's father that eating your own son for such a reason is "not very Christmas-y", and the father's response is to sing a merry little jingle about the whole thing ("Iiii...ate my son for a Blu-ray player, with a ho ho ho and a jingle jingle jangle! My son got ate and it tasted good ho ho jingle jingle ho ho!") crosses the line so many times that the line is now a barcode.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • In this episode, it's the Xbox One that wins the eighth generation console war. In Real Life, it was the PlayStation 4 who won by quite a long mile, and ended up becoming one of the best-selling consoles of all time^note Currently sitting at fifth place behind the PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Game Boy/Game Boy Color (which are officially considered the same console sales-wise), and Nintendo Switch while the Xbox One, while not a failure by any means, never quite recovered from its disastrous reveal^note For details, see Video Game Presentations
  • A major reason for the console rivalry in these episodes is so that everyone can play online together on a single platform. The eighth generation is when crossplay began to become a big thing for multiplayer titles, so in the end this whole war wouldn't have actually mattered in the long run.
