- Awesome Music: Pretty much the entire thing qualifies as this, but the "Awakening", "Cupcakes", and "Hide the Body" sections particularly stand out, the latter of which is a fan-favorite.
- Nausea Fuel: The selling of the cupcakes. The narrator lampshades it by saying how it surprises even him.
- Nightmare Fuel: "Hide The Body" starts with a Heartbeat Soundtrack. Not scary on its own, but when you're in a dark room with the headphones one, it's magnified tenfold.
- Another good one is Late Night Accident. Some Sanity Slippage, and then about 1:40 or so in, SOMEONE'S SNEAKING UP BEHIND ME! Which is followed by the Skull Kid's scream.
- "Practice Makes Perfect (Crime)", a short track in which Tarby narrates stories of Pinkie's repeated murders, all the while an unnerving series of notes plays in the background, culminating in a very loud Scare Chord.
- And of course, All Seems Normal. It starts out with a happy-sounding song with lyrics about Rainbow Dash being tortured to death and made into cupcakes, but the ending suddenly turns into screaming "HELP ME CHASE AWAY MY FEARS, HELP ME CHASE AWAY MY FEARS, HELP ME CHASE AWAY MY FEARS, HELP ME CHASE AWAY MY-" and stopping, turning into two quiet guitar notes.
