YMMV / Shadow Killers Tiger Force

Go To

  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: When Lady Ninja and Mr. Davis are in the abandoned warehouse, their fight comes to a stop and Lady Ninja does a strange seductive belly dance. This involves the unexplained emergence of a coffine, fog, camera tricks and a strange music that's not present anywhere throughout the film. Lady Ninja finally uses her belt to cut his head off, but this doesn't work out, as his head stands still for a moment in the air and just gets back to its initial place. Afterwards, both just teleport to the place where the showdown takes place. This scene is never referenced again nor does it in any way benefit the plot.
  • Complete Monster: Mr. Davis is the ninja leader of a prison camp where women are kidnapped and made into slaves, planning on selling 53 of them to a Middle Eastern buyer. He allows his guards to sexually abuse, torture, and murder them should they try and escape. When one of his women is in need of medical attention, Davis lets her die in order to avoid attention from the government, quipping that she wasn't worth much anyway. Once Lady Ninja rescues some women and destroys his empire, Davis tries to kill her.
  • Poor Man's Substitute: Cora Bentley (as Lady Ninja) is a very obvious replacement for martial arts star Cynthia Rothrock.
  • So Bad, It's Good: As confirmed by several B-moves review pages, this almost goes to exaggerated levels. The movie is a roller coaster of unintentional humor, mostly because of Cora Bentley's exaggerated signs and gestures, her Wile E. Coyote plans, the many plot holes, the interacting between both movies, the strange belly dancing scene and the crazy finale in which Davis is hunted down by a target searching "head nodding" missile.
  • Special Effect Failure: When Lady Ninja enters the warehouse, she goes through a wall (a skill that seemingly all ninjas know in Godfrey Ho's world). When she does it, it can clearly be seen that the walls are just copy-pasted in the post production (she just went around the corner on set).
  • Stock Footage Failure: The WIP-scenes and the ninja scenes never fit together. Most egregious examples are the scenes where both footages try to "interact" with each other, e.g. when Davis talks to the guardian in this office (both rooms have no similarities but are meant to represent the same room).
