- Narm Charm: Sure it's a stop motion with LEGO figures, but with how excellently made it is and how well the story is written, it's hard not to get immersed in it.
- Tear Jerker: Anna's death, Diego's death and finally John Todd's death, which happens right after he tells Ruby he's her father.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: The movie contains some truly impressive cinematography and effects for a LEGO stop motion.
