YMMV / Miles Morales: Spider-Man (2022)

• Awesome Art: Frederico Vincentini's art for the series has recieved universal praise for being dynamic, fluid, and gorgeous to behold, making all of the action pop off the page and adding weight to the story's emotional moments.
• Jerkass Woobie: Rabble's backstory is genuinely tragic, between losing both of her parents to illness and struggling to support herself on her own as the child of first-generation immigrants. But her vendetta against Miles veers into illogical hatred, making it clear that she wants someone to hate that she can punch rather than tackle the faceless and uncaring system she can't.
• Moral Event Horizon: For Gao. Gao placed an electric shock collar on a black teen to do her bidding in order to work off a sentence that Jade received protecting herself and others. It posthumously validates Miles' previous criticisms and accusations of racism as Gao has only ever gone after Black or Brown heroes(note that she never targeted Peter Parker, either of the Daredevils, or any other vigilante, and she is openly defying Luke Cage). Jade did nothing to warrant it other than simply violating the letter of the law which Gao is particularly selective in applying it to.
