YMMV / Loki Episode 5 "Journey into Mystery"

• Tear Jerker: Classic Loki’s death. Having spent most likely centuries living with the regret and lonliness after escaping death, he uses all of his strength and magical skill to give his Variants a chance to strike back at those responsible for ruining countless lives, victoriously shouting "Glorious Purpose" with his dying breath. More than a few people hoped Loki and Sylvie could’ve saved him, or that he somehow faked his death like he did when he faced Thanos. This is punctuated with his leitmotif having a rearrangement of "Ride of the Valkyries", as if to say that he prays that his sacrifice will bring him to Valhalla so he can be reunited with his loved ones.
