• Retroactive Recognition: This was the last film featuring Hayden Christensen released before his prominent turn as Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones. Christensen was first announced to be playing Anakin in May 2000 and thus was getting advance buzz in the lead up to Life as a House’s release. He earned a Golden Globe nomination for his role, which helped raise his profile as a rising star.
