- I Am Not Shazam: La Roux was originally a duo, not Elly Jackson's stage name. The other half of the main group was producer/composer Ben Langmaid. Of course, he didn't perform live, so it's easy to see why Jackson became the band's face. At some point between their first two albums, Langmaid left over Creative Differences, so Jackson now is the band.
- Viewer Gender Confusion: While Jackson's voice is feminine, her Bifauxnen status can trick people watching music videos into wondering.
