• Tough Act to Follow: The series is this to its creator, Claude Meunier. La Petite Vie is one of the most successful Quebec series of all-time, breaking viewership records when it was watched by 4 million viewers on two separate occasions. However, none of the series created by Meunier afterwards managed to be anywhere near as successful. He created Détect.inc. and Adam et Ève, both of which were poorly received by critics and audiences before being cancelled after only one season. He later created a spin-off to La Petite Vie titled Le Ti-Mé Show, which wasn't well-received by critics either, but fared better than either Détect.inc. or Adam et Ève by lasting two seasons before being cancelled as well.
