- Do Not Do This Cool Thing: Apparently, some Moral Guardians took umbrage to Kyary getting progressively drunker during the "Furisodeshon" video (as they felt it promoted underage drinking), so Warner Music Japan slapped a pithy disclaimer on the description to appease them. The Stinger of the video also shows her cover her mouth in distress, two seconds of blank screen, then Kyary being consoled by her monster friend after having thrown up.
- Epileptic Trees: Some theories claim the video for "Mondai Girl" is a Take That! towards music band SEKAI NO OWARI fans who hate her for dating its vocalist Satoshi Fukase. However, expect any video from her to be received with numerous conspiracy theories and claimed Illuminati allusions.
- Signature Song: "PONPONPON," her big viral hit and still her biggest crossover to English-speaking audiences.
- Song Association: "PONPONPON" itself has appeared in two games: Konami's DanceEvolution Arcade, and Sega's maimai. However it's almost always associated with the former instead, at least in Asia (since the former also comes with a novel way of playing by means of a Kinect sensor).
