YMMV / King Of The Hill S 2 E 6 Husky Bobby

• Ass Pull: Dooley and friends attacking the fashion show. Alone that might just be bullies being bullies, but the episode makes it appear that Hank predicted that this will happen, entirely justifying his decision to keep Bobby out of the fashion show.
• Designated Hero: One of the earliest episodes with Hank arguing with Bobby over hobbies the former looks down on with the latter enjoying. While Hank at least does make it clear he doesn't want Bobby to be embarrassed, he still comes across as totally selfish not letting Bobby walk in the show, with him even lampshading this. Plus he didn't consider Bobby's feelings that he wasn't ashamed of this (that is until Dooley and company attacked the show). None of this is helped by a flashback explicitly showing Hank making fun of a fat person during his teenage years.
• Unintentional Period Piece: When Bobby and Peggy visit the talent agency, the agent offers them each a bottled water. Bobby is impressed by this and the agent quips "When you reach the top, you'll find out everything is (in a bottle)." In the late 1990s, bottled water wasn't that common of a product and was often associated with the upper class. It wasn't until later that bottled water became more popular and common.
