YMMV / Jason and the Heroes of Mount Olympus

• So Okay, It's Average: It perfectly encapsulates the show. It’s got good voice acting, the animation is decent for an early 2000s cartoon, the adventures the heroes go on are entertaining enough, and the concept of Olympic gods being depicted as anthropomorphic animals is, if nothing else, novel and interesting, but at the same time, the characters are pretty two-dimensional and the story writing is, at best, standard kid’s cartoon fare.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: An Anthropomorphic Animal Adaptation of Roman/Greek mythology is certainly a compelling idea if done right and has plenty of potential, but the show limits that element to just the gods of Mount Olympus (for no clear reason), and besides the main five, the only other god we meet is Vulcan (depicted as a boar), when it would have been interesting to see what the rest of the pantheon would look like in this universe. We have episodes set on the high sea and in the Underworld but we never meet this world's Neptune (Poseidon) or Pluto (Hades).
