• Awesome Music: The Hip-Hop-themed background music that plays when Linus is skating, Mimi singing, and the party song.
• Broken Base: This whole special is basically a mixed bag; fans either love it for its great music, likable characters, and sweet moments, or dislike it for its filler, misleading title, and animation errors.
• Most Wonderful Sound: None other than Mimi's singing, and especially when she sings "O Mio Babbino Caro" when she is introduced.
• Special Effect Failure: Unlike Snoopy's rotoscoping when dancing back in It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown, the rotoscoping used on Linus when he's rollerskating isn't hidden all that well and jumps out compared to the rest of the animation during that scene.
• Unintentional Period Piece: The scenes with Linus rollerskating are remnants of the late '90s/early '00s extreme sports fad.
