• Viewer Gender Confusion:
  • Pandora has a feminine appearance and name that gets him mistaken for a female by several viewers, on top of him having a close relationship to the male Jin which them believing that think that Pandora was the "the girlfriend of the main character Jin". However some of the international dubs actually had him changed to a female .
  • Eli and Jin to some extent, as both have somewhat feminine haircuts and are voiced by women despite being adolescent boys.
  • Other feminine characters such as Temperance and Yintain use masculine pronouns, though they can be considered to have an Ambiguous Gender since their genders are never really explicitly stated.
