• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • In the original films, the Light Fury is explicitly identified in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World as an offshoot of the Night Fury rather than the natural female of the species, so it's not hard to imagine that everything this fic has given us about the Ice Fury being the natural female of the Fury race is still completely valid.
  • Just like in Frozen II, this fic sees Elsa appoint Anna as Queen while she leaves for other lands to explore her destiny.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Elsa's original reasons for insisting that Wintergale leave with Valka foreshadow the reasons that Berk would order their own dragons to leave for the Hidden World, recognising that the dragons will only be safe away from the humans who can't understand them.
