  • Memetic Badass:
    • Queen Elizabeth II has also become this trope thanks to the "Why Did Kings stop leading Troops into Battle?" video, where she is seen rappelling down from a helicopter wearing camo face paint and shooting with an assault rifle. Thanks to that scene, many fans joke that the Queen could quickly beat the Argentinians had she joined the Falklands War, or even conquer Argentina outright.
    • Some of HM's longest-running top tier Patreon supporters have become this as well:
      • James Bissonette is one of his longest-standing supporters, and thus is always thanked before anyone else at the end of each video. His prominence has earned him a memetic reputation amongst the channel's viewers, who often jokingly cite his funding as the reason a country became successful, or conversely, failed because of its lack thereof.
      • Kelly Moneymaker is a similar case albeit to a lesser extent as she is always thanked second after James. The same kind of memes about her secretly being behind the historical events of the episode often pervade.
      • Boogily Woogily, another Patron thanked at the end of every video, is sometimes jokingly asked what his opinion would be on certain historical issues due to his sillier username in comparison to the other supporters. And sometimes, he responds.
    • There are some interesting names in the next tier down, those listed in text in the final credits cards. As of 2024, these include "Mr. Dr. Prof. Puce", "History Matters Biggest Fan", "Respectable Level of Chaos", and even Alan Smithee (who could literally be anybody—maybe even an alt of James Bissonette).
