YMMV / Halo: Halos in Space

• Canon Defilement:
  • Master Chief is implied to be a robot that is capable of flight in this fanfic.
  • The main character being refered to as "Joe Chief" also seems to imply that "Master Chief" is actually the character's full name and not his military rank. ^note In the actual games, Master Chief's designation is John-117, with "Chief" being a common nickname
  • The fanfic is titled "Halos in Space" as if it being in space is in some way a novelty or selling point for the story, even though being in space (and finding Halos in space) isn't that unusual in the games.
• Narm: One machinima maker starts laughing when saying Joe Chief's shield sound effects. Also when one of the army guys falls asleep after mourning the death of his brother.
• So Bad, It's Good: This fanfic garnered much attention simply because of how terribly written it is, especially grammatically.
