- Nightmare Fuel: This game is just oozes with its Giger-esque bosses. The most notable examples are: Masseboth, a giant wooden ship with a mechanical figurehead that has a cannon hidden in the mouth, or, rather, an enormous troll wearing said ship for a hat, and who can forget Slog, a giant cross-legged grey humanoid that uses floating spheres. And then there's Perfidy, a suggestively-shaped demon with a sneering head on a single, snake-like body that arcs over the right-hand side of the screen. The other end of Perfidy...well, let's just say it shouldn't be a surprise that Gynoug's main artist also worked on Cho Aniki. The best part? Perfidy is only its name in the English and Portuguese releases. Its name in the original Japanese is Joou—Queen.
