  • Awesome Music: Pretty much all the background music fits here.
  • Demonic Spiders:
    • The robot enemies that fire missiles. Not only do their missiles as well as Collision Damage hurt A LOT, they cannot be flown over due to being too large. And then there is the fact that they love to chase poor Gubble...
    • UFOs. Gubble can't fly over them, and some of them actively chase him down.
    • Chet Junior from the sequel. They have two different projectile attacks (one of which is a homing cheese cloud) and a rush move that they will use if Gubble is in sight.
  • Difficulty Spike: Both games have one around the second to third worlds. The enemy combinations get a lot more lethal and more deadly enemies are introduced.
  • Goddamned Bats: The poison cannons in the sequel. They don't hurt Gubble at all... but they completely screw his interface, such as randomly switching his controls, slowing him, preventing him from jumping, or shrinking him (prevents him from jumping or operating tools, but it does allow him to go through small gaps)
  • Memetic Mutation: "WE'RE PLAYING FUCKING GUBBLE!"
