• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Brad. His simple common sense and idiosyncratic physical appearance (he's been likened to a stray cat that just wandered in off the street and the rest of the staff decided to keep because he's so loveable) makes his cameos on the show a fan favorite.
  • Sohla. She's always positive, up for a challenge and everybody respect her work ethics and her opinions. A lot of commenters are asking if she could have her own show eventually.^note Eventually she got one on Babish Culinary Universe after growing frustrated with not being paid fairly for her appearances on camera.
• Seasonal Rot: Many viewers felt that the Starburst and Pop Rocks episodes were less about making Claire create a gourmet version of a food but about seeing her exactly recreate something purposefully difficult to make. What specifically aggravated fans was the fact that Claire openly said she didn't want to do the episodes and was clearly not enjoying making them. Fortunately, the show soon recovered from this dip with the Pop Tarts episode by being much more doable, with Claire enjoying and being obviously proud of herself, with later subjects also being less needlessly mean on her.
